Montauk is home to a diverse community of year-round hard working people as well as a popular summer resort where the seasonal population increases dramatically, which presents a set of unique challenges to our 100% volunteer fire department.

The Montauk Fire District and Montauk Fire Department appreciate your continued support, whether through volunteering or supporting fundraising efforts, and asks you do your part by ensuring the fire safety of your home and preventing accidental fires when barbecuing or enjoying a beach fire.
